Beware Cyclones: The Royals come!!!!

Sunday April 20:
Playoff time!! 5.05 p.m.: The game started...
After the succesful killer game in Elmira on Friday, the boys seemed in a really good shape. They played aggressive and powerful but, you know, it seemed that they must get in behind before they really wake up. And so it happened. Elmira scored and we were behind like in all the games before. But, didn’t matter because we have Chris (Blight) who tied the game again. But then it went on like in the last home game. We got 2 additional goals again before Charlie Kronschnabel and P.J. Atherton came and suddenly the game was tied again with 3-3. The game went on, the Jackals scored again and fortunately Mike Salekin buried the puck in the 3rd period to tie it once more. So... overtime again. I love overtime games. Additional 20minutes hockey!! And today, really wonderful, we got a second overtime!!! What means, 40 minutes additional! It was hard for my nerves but the game was really wonderful. Especially because we won after nearly 4h fighting. Kevin Saurette buried the puck in the net and the rest was only joy and party!!:-) The Royals won the series with 4-2 and avoided the 7th game in Elmira!
Now we face the Cincinatti Cyclones in the North Division Finals. Best-of-seven- series will start on Thursday night. I think everybody knows where I’ll be Thursday 7.05 p.m☺ Unfortunately the second game will be held on Saturday when I’ll be in Washington. And then they’ll head to Cincinatti for game 3 and 4. So let’s hope the fight will be tight that they’ll have to come back to Reading☺

After the game I walked back home. Oh my god, I was so scared because I had to walk through Reading Downtown and over the bridge back to Wyomissing. And it was dark. Okay, I survived but will never do that again. I felt all the time like someone followed me... But before I didn’t think about the game lasting that long, that’s why I took a walk but in future will take the car again☺ I know I’m really too scared but everybody tells me how dangerous it is downtown when it’s dark all the time. Sometime you really believe it!! So, Thursday, car time!!

And in the break they showed an interview with him. Very interesting and he didn't seem very stupid. So, perhaps hockey players have a brain!
