Week Summary and supporting the Phillies

Our week started very very very nice... Shopping in the Philadelphia Premium Outlets which are only 30min away from Reading.
We were really happy with the many different outlets you can find there...Converse, Levis, Puma, Adidas, Columbia...and everything so cheap:-)
And I finally got my so long wished Ray Ban sunglasses:-) After we both found everything we looked for and tried the really good Dairy Quenn smoothies ( a resztaurant where you can drink/eat everything about milk) we went back home.
We spent tuesday with checking out the great Barnes and Nobles bookshop. That many books are not good for us (for our wallets). And we also checked out laundromat. I reall think I'm too silly for some very simple things...:-)

We also spent some time in the Target shop and now I have a really huge Spongebob sitting in my bed and my dog Villi gets a Spongebob baseball when I'm back home in September...:-)
On Wednesday we ate at the Charlie Brown Steakhouse. It was really good but too much. After dining we wanted to go to the Starbucks nearby. We did that and I ruined my hot chocolate. But how should I know what nutmeg is...?REMEMBER: NEVER put nutmeg in your hot chocolate!!!! Hmm, the chocolate was absoultely not drinkable anymore...But Julia had fun with her Moccha!
On Thursday we decided to finally taste "Applebee's.It's a typical american diner where you can eat hamburgers, chicken wings, spareribs etc. but at Applebee's it tastes very good, they have some specials (like my "Cowboy Burger"). We had a nice dinner there and afterwards walked back home and planned our Friday trip to the Phillies.
On Friday I could go home from work a bit earlier, so we should rather have had enough time...but, you know, that would be too simple for us. We had the directions to Citizens Bank Park (the sadium of the Phillies) and it sounded quite easy. But there was something written about Exit 326...I make it short. There was no Exit 326, we drove a few hours around the different highways, paid a bit of toll and made finally our way to the Sports complex of Philadelphia were we luckily found a parking space. The whole trip took us 4h (normally we need a bit more than a hour to Philly...) But the weather was nice, the sun was shining, we got our tickets from a cute guy and after buying a Hot Dog and a programme we found our places.

The match started and we, who had absolutely no clue about the rules in baseball started to figure them out. Here was once more shown that we are a really good team... After we were fully aware of the rules the before boring sport became really interesting. We had fun watching the throwing and running even if the atmosphere in the stadium can not compete with soccer and icehockey... But we won and the Chicago Cubs sucked!!

After the match we went back home. There was a huge traffic jam but in the end we were back on Interstate 76 West. And then we experienced the biggest thunderstorm I've ever seen. It was really amazing, all the flashs and the rain had something special. We also passed that thunderstorm and headed back home were we arrived late and went to bed very tired.
