Sunday July 27, 2008:
The day I waited for sooo long. Tonight, 3 Doors Down played in Hershey together with Staind and Hinder.
And I had tickets for the front row...ahhhh. awesome. The weather was pretty bad the whole Sunday, it was raining and windy and cold but hey I would even go there in a snowstorm*haha*, 3 Doors Down is the best band on this planet and of course..the weather was beautiful in Hershey. The sun was shining it was hot and just great. It took me about a hour to get down there and I arrived in time. And then I finally found my 3 Doors Down Shirt...Jippie, Finally one that is nice. And I got some money before...Trip had no time to join me and so had a ticket left. Sold it to a guy for $25 and so could pay my shirt with that:-)Of cpourse I bought it immediately:-) Then I got a hot dog and a drink and found my seat..front row, I also got an extra permission, seemed like these seats were something special. And then I talked to some girls behind me and yeah I was wright, only a limited amount of tickets were on sale and the rest was for people with VIP-tickets. So, I was pretty pretty lucky that I got one and was even happier now. And the seat was really worth the $95:-)
Then Hinder came on stage. I didn't like them so much before but knew a few songs cause my brother does like them very very much. But after their gig I had absolutely changed my mind. they were great!! fantastic live band and a bunch of extremely funny guys. I like them:-)
The second support was Staind from Chicago. I mean their old stuff like Mudshovel etc. is pretty good and also the new single Believe but the rest...hmmm... And it was not that good at all. A few good songs but I'll never become a big Staind fan.I just listened to it and when they were finished it was fine with me:-)
But then, they came on stage...my heroes, my heart, my beloved 3 Door Down. And they started amazing with Train. I mean it was almost the same playlist like in Toledo but the concert was much better.
And I mean Toledo was already awesome!! But I still can't find any words for this gig in Hershey. It was the best I've ever seen and who knows me knows that I have been on quite a lot good gigs... it was perfect, I almost cried when they finished their set. But not long to wait and I'll see them again, back home in Stuttgart, in October!! I'm so absolutely looking forward to that day, especially cause Gigge and Mecky are coming too and also my mum. Great! my mum is so cool!!
And I bet she'll like the new album, one part of my birthday gift for her:-) Anyway the concert was over somtime and I was happy and sad the same time. happy cause the concert was absolutely awesome and it was so amazing to see them from the front row (heck what I'm talking, I was in the front row in Germany as well*lol*) and sad cause it was over way too fast. But I got a drumstick from Greg and a plec from Todd and Chris!!*freu*
So, I went back to the car and bought another shirt on the way*hmmm* but then I was satisfied and went back home.
Arrived at home around 1.30am and was very tired then. It was such a wonderful, awesome day. I'll never forget that!! And I'll always love these guys from the bottom of my heart:-)
