Started my day with a Hot chocolate at Starbucks and then bought my ticket to Niagara Falls tomorrow.After that I used the Skywalk to go to the CN-Tower. Of course, the tower was a must, typical tourist stuff...
So I paid $23 and the elevator took us high in the sky. The view was wonderful cause the weather was wonderful, absolutely blue sky, sunshine...it was amazing and the money worth.
After that I cheched out the Rogers Dome, the stadium of the Toronto Blue Jays (Baseball) and the Torono Argonauts (American Football). Very impressive!
And then I started walking. I walked up all Yonge-Street, which ist he main street in Toronto. It’s the city centre.I passed the Financial District, found a place to see the EUROS (Germany-Croatia). It was very nice, a big bank had some publich viewing and the whole street was crowded with soccer fans.I chatted with a nice Italian guy and we had funny discusiions about different soccer topics but we absolutely shared the opinion about Cristiano Ronaldo. He knows how to play soccer but iswe hate him with passion. Sorry Julia but I think that's a point we'll never have the same opinion about☺
Anyway, Germany lost☹ and I continued my sightseeing trip.
In the end I went to the Easton Mall,a huge shopping mall at Dundas Square. Dundas Square is like the Times Square of Toronto,so nice!!
This mall is really huge and so many wonderful stores☺ I’m glad I bought a new bag in Ottawa*lol*
I returned to the hostel around 7pm and there I met Frances,one of my roommates She asked me to sign up for the Pub Crawl later and I decided to do that. Good oppurtunity to meet some people. And frances and me had wonderful connection from the first moment..So we all met at the front desk at 8.30pm and started our party.
We were such a nice group, funny mixture and Frances and me the only girls between all these nice guys☺(Later Gabriella joined us) We had some Australian guys (Adam, Duncan, Craig), some British ones(Angus, Aden, John Lennon, no actually his name was Matthew but he looked like John Lennon..., and also Gabriel and Gabriellla from Brasil, Matthew/Ryan Gosling/Steve Carroll(he had a lot of names*lol* and Simon from Montréal, Mika from Helsinki and of course our „guide“ Kyle, who was really tired and didn’t seem to have that much fun..
Anyway. We went to three different bars and it was a lot of fun. I got a rose from Adam...how cute☺ Unfortunately all bars closed at 2am and so Gabriel, Gabriella, Craig and I walked home then, had a Hot Dog at the Seven Eleven store and went to bed then. A funny day was over...:-((
